On a glorious day beside the Thames at the historic Royal Festival Hall, we celebrated the graduation of both our PhD and MSc students. This ceremony, held on Friday, 24 May 2024, marked a significant milestone, acknowledging the hard work and success of our students in the company of their family and friends.

We celebrated the PhD graduation of Dr. Julia Manning, Dr. Tao Bi, Dr. Tigmanshu Bhatnagar. Earning a PhD is an exceptional achievement that entails conducting extensive systematic research and developing original contributions to the field over several years. For our graduates, this journey also included navigating the significant challenges posed by the COVID-19 lockdown, which added an unprecedented layer of complexity to their already demanding studies.

Celebrating the success of our HCI MSc graduates from the class of 2022-23, we take particular pride in the 34 students who were named on the Dean's List, an honour reserved for the highest achievers of the academic year across the Faculty of Brain Sciences at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË. Special congratulations to: Patrick Hussey, Bennet Muhlenbeck, Ethan Gray, Cheuk Yiu Lam, Kalya Aung, Ella Woods, Jennifer Higa, Nicole Soh, Yiran Li, Monika Sikorska, Xiangkang Liu, Clarissa Chong Jia Em, Rui Xiong, Yixuan Dai, Yuan Yao, Tianchen Tao, Mincong Yuan, Antonia Wu, Tabasum Khatun, Kristin Benson, Yici Zhang, Samuel Wilkinson, Polly Barber, Yulu Chai, Preetham Madapura Nagaraj, Allison Hall, Yuyang Lin, Warakan Poomgumarn, Jinmeng Yue, Andrei Munteanu, Chujin Hu, Benjamin Searle, Elissar Haidar, and Suizi Tian.

On the evening before the graduation ceremony, we hosted a celebratory gathering at our central UCL campus, providing an opportunity for our graduating students to reconnect with each other and their former tutors and mentors. The event also welcomed current students and alumni, fostering a vibrant networking environment that celebrated their collective achievements and encouraged ongoing connections within our academic community.

As we celebrate each of our graduates for their hard work and commitment, their dedication and perseverance have truly set them apart. We eagerly anticipate the remarkable contributions they will make in their future careers. Congratulations once again on your well-deserved success! We wish all our graduating students the best for the future.
