Use a temperature probe when cooking to ensure you have cooked your food (e.g. meat) to the correct temperature.
You can buy magnetic wooden tongs to take out food that may get stuck in your toaster.
Ensure foods such as rice and pasta are reheated & stored correctly. Don't keep leftovers for too long, they can go off quickly.
