Early Career Fellowships (Postdoc stage)
2-3 year posts for researchers at a relatively early stage of their academic careers but with a proven record of research.
Up to 4-year posts for researchers at an early stage of their career, designed to help to progress to a permanent position.
This scheme provides funding for mid-career researchers from any discipline who have the potential to be international research leaders.
Career Transition Fellowships
Researchers carrying out independent research within a host laboratory and looking to gain leadership skills.
2-3 year posts for well-established and distinguished researchers able to demonstrate scholarship at the highest level.
Initially up to 5 years of funding for researchers at an early to mid-stage of their career.
Up to 5 year posts for researchers with three to six years postdoctoral experience.
Up to 2-3 year posts for those looking to return to a research career after a break of two or more years for family, health or caring reasons.
This scheme provides funding for mid-career researchers from any discipline who have the potential to be international research leaders. Up to 8 years of funding.
Senior Career Fellowships
Up to 5 year posts for researchers with at least six years postdoctoral experience.
