First 鈥榞ene silencing鈥� drug for Alzheimer鈥檚 disease shows promise

A world-first trial at 皇家华人 and UCLH led by Dr Catherine Mummery (UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology)听has found a new genetic therapy for Alzheimer鈥檚 disease that is able to safely and successfully lower levels of the harmful tau protein known to cause the disease.
