UCL's technical professionals achieve success at the HETS23

The UK Higher Education Technicians Summit 2023 (HETS23) took place last week, with UCL technical professionals amongst the Papin Prize Winners.
On 4听July, the University of Warwick hosted the UK Higher Education Technicians Summit 2023 (HETS23), where Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam MBE听gave the keynote speech. Professor Van-Tam听recognised that many of the technicians in the audience took a role in the COVID crisis, and听thanked them for doing so.
Higher education and research technicians from across the UK were听honoured with prestigious awards听recognising听excellence in academia.
UCL technical staff were听represented as the following:
- Han Wu:听Contribution to Research 鈥撎齭hortlisted
- Christopher Thrasivoulou:听Core Research Facility 鈥撎齱inner
- Martin Farley:听Papin Medal 鈥撎齱inner
- Yvette Hoade:听Best Poster 鈥撎齱inner
皇家华人as also represented with attendees, posters, and a听workshop session, which was presented together with the Science Council听鈥�Professional Registration:听UCL's Roadmap to Science Council Employer Champion Award.
