  • 13 October (inÌýperson): Join Dr HÌýPatten MBE in conversation with dancer and performer Sheba MonserratÌýSmadification - The Spirituality of Jamaican Dancehall CultureÌýforÌýwhat will prove to be an educational, yet lively evening about the dancehall movement interspersed with live performance. Hosted at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË's Bloomsbury Theatre.
  • 19 October (virtual):Ìý - join this online event to find out how simple changes can produce a big impact in built environment education.
  • 25 October (inÌýperson):ÌýPart of the Perspectives on Racialisation, Gender and Feminist Methodologies seminar series 2022-23,ÌýDecolonial Feminist Thought: A conversation between Françoise Vergès and Edna Bonhomme.   • 25 October (virtual):ÌýJoin Professor Paul Gilroy (UCLÌýCentre for the Study of Race and Racism) and Dr Clive Nwonka (UCL Institute for Advanced Studies) to explore Arsenal’s historic contribution to Black sporting iconography inÌý.   • 26 October (inÌýperson):ÌýThe Computer Science Race Equality Working group is hosting an in-person Black History Month event to celebrate Black Computer Scientists, network and share some Caribbean food: Black History Month: Celebrating Black Computer Scientists.
  • 26 October (inÌýperson):ÌýFilmmaker, broadcaster and historian, David Olusoga,Ìýjoins Professor Edward Denison (UCLÌýBartlett School of Architecture)Ìýfor a conversation as part of the Modern Heritage in the Anthropocene Symposium, hosted byÌýThe Bartlett International Lectures Autumn 2022.
  • 27 October (inÌýperson): Join Rosemary Campbell Stevens MBE, inÌýGlobal Majority – A Celebration of Decoloniality and Recentring HumanityÌýas part of the Modern Heritage of Africa / Modern Heritage in Anthropocene symposium (MoHoA), who will beÌýdiscussing decoloniality andÌýadvoating the importance of centring the global majority.
