At the start of 2016, we asked our Twitter community to help out a fellow student, Lara Casalotti, who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

A stem cell transplant was her best hope and the hashtag '#match4lara' was started to help find Lara and others a match.ÌýDespite the odds, a suitable donor for Lara was found!Ìý

The UCLU Film Society shared this gem of a video from 1960s UCL.Ìý

Some things never change. Freshers in the sixties shared their first thoughts of the college, finding it "pretty hectic" and "terribly confusing - I can't find my way around".Ìý

Yet the general vibe of »Ê¼Ò»ªÈËas still positive, with freshers saying everyone was "very friendly".
