Call to budding arts journalists

22 October 2015

Would you like to write for a new arts magazine exploring the intersection between classical music and other art forms? Daniel Calvert, a UCL AppliedÌýLinguistics postgraduate and editor forÌýOxford University Press, is co-founding an online music magazine with Hannah Nepil, a music critic at The Financial Times and Gramophone.

Contribute to The Cusp a new online magazine

TheirÌýnew magazine, The Cusp, will explore the boundary between music and other art forms and will feature sound installations in caves and forests, music for instruments made of ice, digital opera and music written by fish.Ìý

As a writer forÌýThe CuspÌýyou will report on these kinds of quirky events taking place in London and further afield. Both reviewers and feature writers are welcome, as well as photographers.

Although the team can't offer payment until the magazine gets off the ground, you will receive free tickets to the events you cover, with plenty of networking opportunities, not least the magazine launch party early in 2016.

If you would like to contribute to the magazine email Daniel Calvert with a sample of your writing or photography.
