Participants needed for a virtual reality study on spatial memory B. All slots for this research study have now been filled.

Researchers from UCL Computer Science are looking for participants to take part in a virtual reality study on spatial memory.

During the experiment you will be asked to learn and recall positions of objects in an environment with one of the following:

  • a desktop computer system
  • a head-mounted virtual reality display
  • no display/visualisation tool

The study will take about 60 minutes. We will give you £10 to compensate your expenses in participating. You will also be allowed to use the head-mounted virtual reality display at the end of the experimental task, if you have not had the chance.

NB. Please note that you will not be able to participate in this study if you have previously suffered an epileptic episode or if you have consumed alcohol within the last 6 hours.

If you are interested in taking part please contact M.Murcialopez@cs.ucl.ac.uk.

This study has been approved by the UCL Research Ethics Committee (Study ID Numbers 6708001 and 6708002). All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
