Support for UCL students over the Easter closure

As you know, »Ê¼Ò»ªÈËill be closed from 5:30pm Wednesday 16 April until Wednesday 23 April 2014.

AlthoughÌýUCL is closed over the Easter period, there is plenty of support still available to students. Read on to find out more:

Student Disability Services

Study Abroad

A student currently abroad who requires emergency assistance can contact their travel insurance provider on the emergency number +44 (0) 1273 400 850.Ìý

Student Funding Team

There is lots of information and useful links on the to assist students with any financial concerns during the Easter break.Ìý

Examinations

All students will now have received their exam timetable and can access it via .Ìý

If students have any concerns about sitting their exams due to illness over the Easter closure, they should consult their GP and submit a medical note to their academic department, which will qualify the incident as an extenuating circumstance.

If they have an accident or a medical condition which means they might be eligible for special assessment arrangements, such as additional writing time or rest breaks, they should seek advice from Ìýin the first instance after the Easter closure.

Halls of residence

Students staying in UCL halls of residence will be able to follow the usual lines of communication for support over Easter.Ìý

There will be a duty member of staff on call every day if residents need any assistance. The staff contact details will be displayed in the hall.
