Broadcaster Jon Snow - wearing a trademark flashy tie - was guest of honour at an awards ceremony for volunteers.
听
Jon commended the volunteers at the event at 皇家华人's Volunteer Awards Ceremony last week. He also recounted his own volunteering experiences as an 18-year-old in a tiny Ugandan village with the Voluntary Service Overseas. 鈥�
There are currently more than 350 UCL students involved in volunteering, contributing over 10,000 hours of their time to community projects, mostly in the Camden area.
