This course introduces and applies some key approaches towards analysing qualitative data. The course is designed for students with little or no initial knowledge or experience of qualitative analysis. It is comprised of a series of lectures/seminars and workshops which introduce and offer practical experience of a range of qualitative research and analysis frameworks. While primarily providing a generic introduction to qualitative analysis (and qualitative research more generally), the module will also facilitate students’ capacity to applies these methods in developmental and educational psychology.
