This is an advanced module and designed for students who have studied management topics previously. The content will cover complex topics which are not suited to students with no prior knowledge of subjects related to the field.
This module code is for students in Mechanical Engineering department only. All other Engineering students should see MSIN0179, Project Management for Engineers. Project Management provides an understanding of the tools and techniques of project administration and the environment within which projects are undertaken. The course aims to introduce students to the range of issues that affect projects and the strategies, tools and techniques for managing them. The course content is very practical in nature and aims to help students to develop the skills, knowledge, attributes and behaviours that a project manager needs.
