Description

Aims: Term 1 will provide students with the mathematics to take them from GCE A level standard to that required for the remainder of the economics degree.

Term 2 will consolidate the mathematics background needed for the rest of the degree programme at a level appropriate for economics specialists.

Suitable for: Compulsory for 1st Year single-honours Economics (L100, L101 and L102) students.

Prerequisites: GCE A level mathematics at Grade A* (or equivalent).

Assumed knowledge: A thorough knowledge of single-variable calculus.
