This is the dissertation module for the MA Education, Health Promotion and International Development.Ìý
The dissertation module aims to enable students to understand the contested nature of social/educational research (as applied to international development) and apply their learning by way of preparation and submission of a dissertation.Ìý
The module consists of a series of taught elements and supervision sessions to support students to conduct a small-scale study (such as that for their dissertation).Ìý
Students are expected to submit an account of their small-scale study by way of a dissertation. This is a maximum of 19,000 words and includes a write-up of the research, a research proposal and a focused summary of the study.Ìý
