1. Son of Michael and Elizabeth Isaacs. Awarded the compensation for two awards in St James Jamaica. A merchant of Montego Bay, who in 1845 was the First Parnassim/Elder of Montego Bay Synagogue. He was a Freemason (having been initiated into Masonic Lodge 'Friendly 383' and served in the Jamaica militia. He married Anna 'Hanah' Marks (born 1805 Montego Bay, Jamaica) , daughter of Zelig 'Solomon' Marks (q.v.). By 1851 Isaac Barnett had returned to England, dying in London in 1870 aged 75.

2. In 1851 Barnet Isaacs aged 54 retired West India merchant was living with his wife Ann aged 46 born Jamaica and daughter Emma aged 22, also born Jamaica, at 14 Stamford Street, Blackfriars Road. He died 11/12/1870 at 10 Oxford Terrace Peckham (this was the address of another recipient of compensation, Ann Johnson Vermont (q.v.), leaving under £5000.
