Global partnerships are providing听opportunities for UCL academics across faculties to work together with colleagues from partner institutions to deliver greater global impact

Building partnerships of equivalence, facilitating partnership working and听encouraging joint activity have been at the core of the GES.听Since 2015, UCL has developed听strategic global partnerships with听Peking University and the University of Toronto, as well as with the Max Planck Society, Osaka University, Yale, University of Hong Kong, Universite虂 PSL and more.

UCL has set up match-funding schemes with eight partners, with three more in the pipeline. One of the ways we鈥檙e seeing impact from this is in the number of co-authored papers with key partners, which is significantly higher over the past five years than the trend across all of UCL鈥檚 international partners.

Support for European engagement has been especially important to mitigate听the effects of Brexit and has been a high priority for UCL since the 2016 referendum.
