This was a two day conference delivered by the University of Sheffield for IChemE on 8th & 9th April 2015 in Sheffield.

ChemEngDayUK 2015 brought together researchers, academics and industry from around the UK at Sheffield's City Hall on the 8th and 9th of April 2015, to explore the latest technological advances and research in core areas of chemical engineering. Through a combination of distinguished plenary speakers, parallel technical sessions and poster sessions, leading experts from academia and industry show cased their research efforts, technologies and visions. New opportunities for collaborative research were created and, in particular, industrialists were able to establish new relationships with universities and other industries.

A number of authors submitted abstracts for theme posters.

Michele Lynch won the Theme Poster Prize Biological Engineering for the poster titled ‘Chaperonin-Inspired Enzyme Protection by Mesoporous Silica'  M.M.Lynch, M.M.Nigra, M.-O.CoppensDepartment of Chemical Engineering, University College London.

Michele Lynch has won the Poster Competition at the ChemEng Day event for the second year running.

Wentian Zheng won the IChemE Caption Competition at the event.
