Dr Sandra Martelli appointed Professor (Teaching), effective 01 October 2024

UCL Centre for Integrative Anatomy member, Sandra Martelli, has just been appointed Professor (Teaching), effective 01 October 2024. Up to now, she has been acting as the Associate Director for the Division of Biosciences Undergraduate Education.

We are delighted that our colleague, Sandra Martelli, has just been appointed Professor (Teaching), effective 01 October 2024. Sandra is a higher education expert in higher education design, and up to now has been acting as the Associate Director for the Division of Undergraduate Education at the UCL Faculty of Life Sciences.

Sandra is also an internationally recognized in the field of and the postnatal ontogeny of humans and living hominoids (great apes and apes).

Originally graduating from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, Sandra Martelli gained her PhD in Comparative and Evolutionary Anatomy, here at 皇家华人, in 2005.聽 From 2007-2009, Sandra was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Evolution of Cultural Diversity聽at 皇家华人's聽Institute of Archaeology.聽 While Senior Teaching Fellow in Anatomy, she gained a UCL聽MA in Teaching and Learning in Higher Professional Education 2015. Sandra聽joined the UCL Department of Cell & Developmental Biology, of which the UCL Centre for Integrative Anatomy is a part, in 2010.
