David Attwell & Felipe Freitas (NPP) have been awarded £151K from the Rosetrees Trust for their research intoÌýpreventing post-ischaemic loss of blood flow in the kidney.

Tom Wills (CDB) has been awarded a Senior Research Fellowship from the Wellcome Trust for a programme of research titled 'The development of neural circuits for episodic and general memories'

Maria Secrier (GEE) has been awarded a £1.2M UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship to investigate the role that tumour dormancy plays in the acquired resistance to various cancer therapies.

Nick Lane and eight colleagues in GEE, Biosciences and across UCL have been awarded a £3 million strategic Long and Large (sLoLa) grant from the BBSRC for their research on the Origins of Biology: how energy flow structures metabolism and heredity at the origin of life.
