Transfer to UCL History of Art

a group of students talk outside a building

Applicants must meet our first-year eligibility criteria and be currently enrolled in another department at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË. Because of our degree programme's unique structure, we cannot accept credits from other programmes. Students transferring in must, therefore, be willing to begin in the first year of study and follow the standard module diet of all BA single honours students. If you are on a student visa, you must check with UCL's Visa Compliance Team to ensure your visa covers the transfer.Ìý

Availability of transfer spaces is subject to current student numbers and other factors. However, we encourage you to reach out to the BA Admissions Tutor if you meet the criteria, as they can provide you with the most up-to-date information on space availability. With the agreement of the History of Art Department and your current department, you then submit a Programme Transfer Request on Portico.

If you wish to transfer to UCL History of Art from another university, you must meet our first-year eligibility criteria and apply through UCAS in the next available cycle. Again, all transfer students must begin in the first year, regardless of credits they may have acquired elsewhere.
