In recognition of its “world-leading contribution to the policy and practice of education with international reach around innovative social research”, the UCL Institute of Education (IOE) has been awarded a Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education.
The merger of the institute and UCL in 2014 created the leading UK university for social sciences.
Between 2014 and 2019, theIOE’saward-winningFirst World WarCentenary Battlefield Tours Programme is giving a minimum of two students and one teacher from every state-funded secondary school in Englandthe opportunityto visit the battlefields on the Western Front.
