Neurocomic takes readers on an adventure in the brain
Dr Hana Ros (»Ê¼Ò»ªÈËeuroscience, Physiology & Pharmacology) and comic artist Matteo Farinella (UCL Biosciences) have teamed together to create Neurocomic, an imaginative effort to explain the inner workings of the brain through a graphic novel. "The goal of Neurocomic is to explain scientific ideas to a general audience in a sort of fun, engaging, clear way," said Dr Ros.
Should we have faith?
A study led by Professor Michael King (UCL Mental Health Sciences Unit) found that, in the UK, people that described themselves as spiritual were three times more likely to have an episode of depression.
