New publication in Journal of Biological Chemistry for Saiardi Lab
In their recent publication in ,听听迟丑别 Saiardi Lab聽build on their discovery of聽a novel post-translational modification of lysine residues in budding yeast, known as聽polyphosphorylation. They have聽further characterised聽this modification by revealing the importance of acidic amino acids in target proteins. Significantly,聽they聽have developed a yeast model in which to study this modification without the interference of the vacuolar inorganic polyphosphate.聽This research聽paper has been chosen as one of聽JBC's ""聽which represent the聽top-rated papers published in聽JBC聽across the field of biological chemistry.聽
